A little information about me, Heidi Brown Porter:
I am originally from Henryetta, OK but I've lived in Broken Arrow since 2002. I started my insurance career in 1997 with State Farm Insurance. I was originally an administrative assistant but in 1998 I obtained my agents insurance licenses and started selling insurance for an agent in Tulsa. In late 1998 I switched to an agent's office in Broken Arrow and I stayed there until April of 2017. While working for my agent in Broken Arrow I was able to obtain my bachelor's degree in marketing from Northeastern State University in 2003. The insurance business has become a way of life for me and I enjoy helping people understand the risks of everyday life and how insurance can help protect them from those risks. In late 2016 I had an opportunity to become a small business owner and open up my own independent agency by partnering with Premier Group Insurance out of Denver, CO. This was not an easy decision for me and my family but the excitement of being able to help people find the best insurance option by offering more than one company was to exciting to pass up. So, in April of 2017 I left State Farm and started my own agency, HBI Insurance (Heidi Brown Independent Insurance).
HBI Insurance was the first Oklahoma office for Premier Group Insurance, but now they have 10 agencies in OK and are in 45 other states.
In April of this year, 2022, I moved my office to the Riverwalk in Jenks. The location is easy to access and it has been a great move for my agency!! If you are looking for an agent who will help you save money but still have the coverage you need give me a call!!!
